EXPRESSION THEATRE - EGM

I understand it is very short notice, but please note that an Expression Theatre EGM will be held on Friday 21st January 2011 at The Arthur Morison Hall, Cucklington - at 7pm for 7.30pm prompt start.

The purpose of this meeting is to re-establish the existing Committee with certain positions within it up for election. The roles and responsibilities of these positions will be explained in full. Please note the current committee members are not standing down.

The positions available are as follows: -

Social Secretary (to include Newsletter); and

Fundraising

There will be, of course, be opportunities for members to join the committee as a non-specified role.

We will also be looking to see if there are any amendments to the constitution to be made and copies of these will be made available at the meeting (or alternatively, in electronic format).

The next item on the agenda will be our next production. I have put forward to direct a pantomime 'Dick Whittington' for this years show. However, offers of different pantomimes, ideas and directors will be considered by the committee.

This meeting is fully open for non-members to attend so please encourage friends and family to come along. There will also be refreshments and DVDs of past productions shown.

Remember, this is YOUR opportunity to make a difference to this thriving young drama society. We've already had five fabulous pantomimes and four amazing plays under our belt with lots of our members achieving awards in different capacities. I see a great future for the group if we continue to support it as much as we possibly can.

Cinderella Rehearsals

Hello All,

Rehearsals have now begun.

We require chorus for the production and I urge you to get involved now!

Rehearsals are Wednesday Evenings from 7pm - 9pm and Sunday's 2pm - 6pm.

Times may change at the directors discretion. We look forward to seeing you all soon!

Dear all members,

We have now cast "Cinderella" the Pantomime for 2010.

However we do have the following role still available:

Buttons - Linkman

If you would like to audition for these roles please e-mail us as soon as possible.

Auditions for these parts will be held on Sunday 22nd August at 2pm in Cucklington Hall.

NOTE TO ALL -REHEARSALS HAVE NOW BEGUN!

CHORUS MEMBERS ARE URGENTLY NEEDED FOR OUR FORTHCOMING PRODUCTION!

PLEASE GET INVOLVED IN THIS FANTASTIC PRODUCTION THERE IS A HUGE AMOUNT FOR THE CHORUS TO DO. THANK YOU!

If you would like to be part of the backstage team and production team you also need to contact us as soon as possible as things are moving very quickly for this years production.
